Update: No one should do business with Chad Peevy under any circumstances. This jerk still hasn’t paid me in full for this animation, yet he’s used it on his website promoting new business for the last three years! Warning. Stay away!
A talented artist/designer friend of mine (and fellow colleague from my Teshler ad-agency days) Luis Figallo recently called me in to help usher in a re-branded Chad Peevy Marketing for 2009 — PeevyMedia.
This is the intro animation I developed for their website, based on Luis’ design work. It’s a bit like my previous effort to define Teshler, and was developed in much the same way. Sitting down with Chad (and Luis) and discussing their company. What makes them tick.
Only this time the tempo is a bit more upbeat, the graphic embellishments taking it beyond mere animated typography. It was a fun piece, and further confirmation that I have a knack for this sort of thing — taking the essence of a company and boiling it down to a short animated sequence that’s both memorable and eye-catching. (I also look forward to being a part of the PeevyMedia family in the New Year. Fun stuff.)
Need me to do something similar for your company? Drop me a line.
