My good friend Lee (at Trillion Media) and I just wrapped up a quick, high-energy video for the opening of Gitanjali’s annual awards dinner. These are meant as shot-in-the-arm, attention-getting, sit-up-and-pay-attention pieces. Fun to edit, and always go over big on the jumbo projection screen in a packed auditorium.
Because they’re only for internal use, we get away with the blatant music lifts and the conceivably “fair use” comedy clip from Rushmore (awesome film, btw).
While I always find similar inspirational posters a bit cheesy, throw cool music, nice fonts and slick flash frame editing in there, and heck — I could watch (or make) these all day long!
Well done, and effective.
Watching it motivates me to stop reading peoples blogs and get back to work.
