Back in 2004 and 2005, Matt and I did a series of fast-paced commercials in a wide variety of fun, eye-catching, animated styles. These were the bread-and-butter of my days at LittleBeast for awhile, and while they were quick-and-dirty, they were also kinda fun since I was given pretty wide berth and expected to do something new and different in each one.
For awhile we featured a cheesy “cut the head off the CEO” gag, whereby we replaced his standard “Free!” stock phrase on various other bodies. That was particularly hilarious and entertaining. At least to us.
In retrospect, there’s something to these. Not high art, mind you, but something.
