Okay, okay, don’t everyone get too excited about the above image. Yes, I am getting a 3G iPhone on or around July 11th, and yes, I can’t wait. Yes, I’ve also applied for the iPhone developer program. And yes, I do have a few definite ideas for some simple, interconnected games for the iPhone.
As for whether the award-winning Extreme Dungeon Game Experience will ever find its way onto the button-less device with some clever new UI… well, that remains to be seen. Don’t count your RPGs before they hatch.
(That said, I do think the device and third-party apps are going to be huge. And I’m quite happy with what I’ve seen so far.)
Stay tuned for more after the 11th, once the Apple fanboy drool factor wears off.
Looks good, I just purchased the game for my Centro the other day and its great.
I hope you are still plan on working on Edge for Palm
This would definitely be great on the iPhone, as the app store’s currently rather lacking in rpgs (the few that are there aren’t even close to being as polished as EDGE).
Please count me in for a copy on iPhone. I think I have unfinished business on the one I played on my TREO680.
I’ve been playing edge on my palm for years now. I can’t believe you killed the forum without making it searchable. Well I guess you have to bring it back 🙂 still trying to figure out the god mode hint ie authors name…
Edge ruled over all games on my Palm Tungsten back when it came out. This game would be an amazing sucess on the iphone. …..
I had this game on my Zodiac 2 and would totally buy it over again on the iPhone/iPad… Any news on this?
