Super Slow-mo: Teradata’s “Perfect Circle”

Another interesting animated type/design job. This time, a 30th anniversary “thank you” from Teradata to their customers.

This time out, the concept I developed was that of a “perfect circle” between client and company. This feedback loop is what has kept Teradata ahead of the competition for 30 years. As a design element, this “perfect circle” became the “O” (or the zero) in every animating phrase.

Another nice touch developed along the way: I built a number of “super slow-mo” moments by isolating and animating some well-chosen still photographs. I’m particularly happy with the final image. Definitely a technique I plan to exploit further in the future.
